Out and About

The Plein Air Thursday group has gotten together to paint on Thursdays. This week we had a small group but a very productive one.
Sheila painted this happy sunflower using watercolor. The colors are brilliant and exciting
which makes for a very successful painting. Beautiful, Sheila!

Sheila painted these petunias using watercolors. Her colors are just beautiful and vibrant. Love it, Sheila!

Rita painted this Monhegan scene using pastels. The perspective is very interesting and the composition
is balanced. Her use of beautiful colors finishes off this lovely piece. Great job, Rita!

Nancy worked on this oil painting of a sunlit stream. The stream leads the viewer into the painting and brings you
all the way back to the lone tree. Exceptional, Nancy!

Liz painted this Air Stream camper using acrylics while in Susan Toby White's workshop. Her use of
color is exciting and vibrant. The shiny surface of the camper is well done.

Create

Summer is here and the weather has not cooperated. Rain again today. Wet weather won't dampen our
creative spirit in this group!
Terrie painted this Laughing Gull using acrylics. Terrie used multiple colors to paint the feathers of this little guy. The
post on the right makes for an interesting composition. Great job Terrie!

Rita painted this scene using pastels. The varied shapes of the rocks make for an interesting painting. The

Linda painted this coastal scene using pastels. The painting is so interesting because of her varied strokes and colors. The petrified log is the focal point but the surroundings support this painting. Lovely Linda!
