Linda Packard's pastel class is so dynamic because of the process she uses in teaching us. This week she had us do a "painting in the round". We each started a painting the passed the painting to the person on the right after a timed session (approx. 2min) We received a painting from the left and continued painting on that painting for a timed session and then passed it to the person on the right ..continuing until each person had painted on all 8 paintings. Essentially each person painted on every painting. The fact that you had to respond to what was on the paper and continue was so freeing. I just loved the way the paintings came out...See the results below.
