The way to understand art is to go and look at it. And if out of a million visitors there is even one to whom art means something, that is enough to justify museums ( Pierre Auguste Renoir)
"Art is a lifetime matter. The best any artist can do is to
accumulate all the knowledge possible of art and its principles, study
nature and practice continually." (Edgar Payne, 1883-1947)

Surprise Guest

This was our final Pastel class of the Spring session.  Our instructor Linda Packard, encouraged each student to push themselves and reach for the higher level.

He shared his paintings and described his technique for each one. Beautiful paintings Fred and it was so good to see you.

As always these look so good and your commentary is wonderful. Wasn't it fun to see Fred and to see how far he's come. I loved his paintings on a black background. What a great class. And thank you so much for blogging for all of us.

  2. Priscilla, Your welcome....I love this class and everyone in it. This is so much fun for me. I really like the way the art looks on the site...like it would look like framed. They all are such beautiful pieces. Such talented artist.
