Cloud 9

The Plein Air Group has taken to climbing stairs to the 3rd floor to get to our beloved art room( Cloud 9). The Elevator is our of commission because of a fire in the building. We continue to meet and judiciously haul art supplies up....but we are getting fit at the same time.(big benefit). This minor setback hasn't curtailed us from turning our fabulous art....see below.
Michelle painted this Southwest scene using pastels. She used vibrant
colors to create a bright and cheery composition.Beautifully done.

Linda painted this lady using pastels. Linda  is working on this

Linda painted this basket of fruit using pastels. The
colorful basket is in contrast to the soft colors of the background
Lovely.

Nancy painted this scene of her neighbors house. The point of interest
of this painting is the shadow and Nancy created the mystery of the shadow
