Quote

The way to understand art is to go and look at it. And if out of a million visitors there is even one to whom art means something, that is enough to justify museums ( Pierre Auguste Renoir)
"Art is a lifetime matter. The best any artist can do is to
accumulate all the knowledge possible of art and its principles, study
nature and practice continually." (Edgar Payne, 1883-1947)

Busy Summer

This has been a very busy summer. We have painted in lots of different places and have had a great time doing it. The weather has co-operated for the most part. Today, we are in the Senior Center because of threats of (Liz, Sue and Rita)...many of the other Artists are busy getting in the last trip of the season.
Enjoy our paintings.
Rita painted this view of her garden using pastels. The purple Butterfly bush
adds depth and  color to this beautiful painting.
Great Job Rita!

Sue painted this Campobello scene using oils. The painting
is in progress

Liz painted this profusion of colorful flowers using acrylics.
The painting is vibrant and just makes one feel happy looking at it.
Great use of color.  Beautiful, Liz.
