The way to understand art is to go and look at it. And if out of a million visitors there is even one to whom art means something, that is enough to justify museums ( Pierre Auguste Renoir)
"Art is a lifetime matter. The best any artist can do is to
accumulate all the knowledge possible of art and its principles, study
nature and practice continually." (Edgar Payne, 1883-1947)

Fall days great for painting

Fall has arrived. The days are warm with a cool breeze and the nights are cool. This week the group painted with vigor. Gloria returned and was welcomed with conversation. Good to see you Gloria! Gloria my apology to you. I was loading the photos on to this web site and the picture of your painting was deleted ...my mistake. I will be sure to post it next week..so please bring it to group next thursday.

Below are the painting that were produced ..

Mama and Baby Bear and the Raccoon are depicted in a
vignette composition that is inviting to the eye.

very colorful and the seagulls show lots of action which makes
for a very interesting and beautiful painting.
Great job, Carol.
