Road Trip

This week, Thursday May 23rd, we are planning to go to Gail's cottage in Hancock to paint. We are going to meet on Thursday morning at 9 am at the Hannaford's in Brewer. We will be down by the entrance so we won't miss anyone.  Byol....bring your own lunch.  If the weather is bad we can go on Friday.
Driving directions: Rt. 1 to Hancock. After the Crocker House take a right on to Point Road
when you see Box 230 turn on to Mill Pond Lane.

Priscilla holding her painting.

Priscilla's painted this Wharf posts using acrylics.  This painting is in
progress. The manny colors she used bring an interesting brightness. Great job so far, Priscilla.

Rita painted this seaside scene using pastels. The colors are bright and Rita used many colors to make the whites. Great job, Rita!

This pastel portrait was painted by Michelle. The many colors used make the
facial features interesting along with the strong shadows. Beautiful, Michelle.

Gail captured these moss covered rocks using acrylics. The soft edges makes the moss
appear soft. Lovely, Gail.

This Hibiscus was painted by Linda using pastels. The beautiful colors in the
flowers center along with the colorful leaves makes for a beautiful composition

Charlene painted this Monhegan scene using watercolors on Yupo paper. The
colors are inviting and the path draws the viewer into this beautiful scene. Fabulous, Charlene!

Gigi painted this scene using acrylics.. The red sky is powerful in this painting. The contrasting
yellow field is beautiful. Nice job, Gigi

Terrie painted this mid-west barn using acrylics. The painting is in progress and you
can see the many colors she uses for her under-paining.
